I came across these red polypropylene bags near the registers and thought they might be a good alternative to the socially acceptable scam known as “gift bags.” They’re $1.49 and don’t crease and wrinkle like paper gift bags. The downside is that they don’t have cute pictures of puppies, balloons and creepy clowns on the side. With the money you save by purchasing and reusing these bags you can spend money on other scams like “abolishing poverty” and “your kid’s college fund.”
